OK so it's more fun than crazy, but it's still madness!

One big update...

OK ok , so here it is. Where have I been? BUSY. Let's see, since summer started, I've been camping twice, had house guests twice, went to South Dakota, went to WI Dells, spent the night downtown with friends, had a tiring week of VBS...and that's in additon to working what...FOUR jobs? So, that's what I haven't updated. So, here it is, all my summer pix in one big fat post!

First...my sister's shower in South Dakota. I don't have any really good pix of the shower, which was beautiful, but I did make sure to take a bunch of shots of the sock flower centerpieces my Mom and I made. They were so cool! And now Bethany has 36 socks for her new baby.

Next, here are some random flowers in my garden. Of course I don't have a full shot of my garden. These flowers are from seeds that my Mom sent Emily from Hawaii.

Except for this one....

Emily is visiting her grandparents, so she missed VBS. Here's Maicy on stage during the final program.

Crazy kid.

Here's a few shots of Emily and the big fish she caught! She's a great fisherman, she does it all on her own. Gets out the worm, chops it in 1/2, hooks it, casts, catches her fish, reels it in, but doesn't take it off. All of this is done SILENTLY. Very strange to watch.

Here's a picture of the table on our back deck that shattered when Emily and I were trying to install the new umbrella. Yikes!!

And becuase I couldn't resist...a picture that Emily took of her sister.

Great pics, Sarah! How CUTE are those centerpieces???? What a cute idea! Where did you hear about that????? You and your sister are both so beautiful! Flowers are beautiful, too...Maicy is a doll and a little hammy ham and I love that Em loves to fish. I always liked it but I could NOT stand to try to get the hook out after I reeled it in. Other than that, none of it bothers me...unless it's blecky and hot and there are bugs. ha! I sound like a real fisherperson, eh? Hugs!!! Thanks for the update!!!

Now that is one big update! The sock flowers are such a unique idea - I bet she just loved it. I just love M's shirt. When I was a kid I had a glow in the dark shirt like that that said "Pobody's Nerfect". It's good to hear from you. Now I'm certain Jeff hasn't buried you in the backyard. :-)

Aw. Throw me in the "The sock centerpiece is an adorable idea" camp. :) And I'm sorry, but the girls are getting way too big way too fast! :O Just wanted you to know I was still out here semi-keeping track of how you guys are doing. :)
